- Spherical Videos on Your Newsfeed – Facebook will soon introduce spherical videos which are somewhat similar to Street View on Google Maps. The social media company said that its website will soon support videos that are shot with 360 degree camera technology. This will allow Facebook users to click and drag on the screen to change the perspective they see. At the same time, Google also announced similar video format to be rolled out in Youtube in the near future.
- Using Other Apps you can Reply fto Messages – According to Facebook, you will be able to use third-party mobile apps within its Messenger app. So, if you want to create a gif or meme, you can open an app that does this in Messenger. This new feature allows you to create messages and send it. Also, with this feature you will no longer require closing the Messenger app or opening a third-party app, make the creation, copy it and go back to Messenger to paste in and send.
- Tracking Purchases Within Facebook Messenger – It’s a delightful announcement especially for retail businesses as Facebook Messenger app will soon be integrated into eCommerce websites. When you make purchases from a eCommerce site, you will have the option to connect the eCommerce site to your Facebook page. Businesses can then send you notifications and your purchases in your Messenger app.
- Embedding Facebook Videos on Other Websites – We all know that YouTube provides the facility to embed its videos to other websites with ease. Now you can do the same with Facebook videos thereby you no longer require to share videos by linking to them.
